Luca Paternostro is a recent graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law, class of 2024, and a newly licensed attorney excited to begin his legal career. With a passion for serving his home state of West Virginia, Luca brings fresh energy and a strong commitment to advocating for his clients. During law school, Luca gained invaluable experience in trial advocacy and client representation by participating in the Lugar Trial Association, a student organization where Luca participated in mock trials and trial settings at the College of Law and other schools. Luca also advocated for the Veterans Law Clinic, where he had the privilege of representing veterans and their families in a variety of legal settings.
A native of Charleston, WV, Luca attended Charleston Catholic High School, where he was an active member of the soccer, swimming, and track teams. His deep connection to the Charleston community inspired him to establish his legal career in his hometown.
Following high school, Luca attended Xavier University in Cincinnati, a Jesuit institution where he majored in Business Administration. While at Xavier, Luca enjoyed the benefits of a smaller university while engaging in the vibrant life of a large city, forming lifelong friendships and passionately supporting the Xavier basketball team.
Outside of work, Luca enjoys playing golf and hopes to get more involved in local soccer programs, aiming to participate in coaching and mentoring upcoming athletes. He values spending time with his family in Charleston, whether cheering on his younger brothers at their soccer matches or hiking the trails of Kanawha State Forest with his dog.
